April 19-20 National Parks Free Entrance Day

National Parks Free Entrance Day

Every year our National Parks set aside some free days for us.  No entrance fees and that can be a great time to help plan your next family outing.  The freebie does not include camping fees, or other fees like for tours, but it will save a great deal when entering some of our nation's parks.

This weekend in celebration of April 19-20 opening weekend of National Park Week you could gain entrance for free on April 19-20.  For more information and to find a park near you check here.

If you are planning out the rest of your year the other free dates are:

  • August 25 National Park Service Birthday
  • September 27 National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 Veterans Day

Thank you for the great comments, I always appreciate them. This is a family blog, and some folks seem to forget that so I had to ad word verification to keep spam at bay and moderate all comments to remove adult content that is unwelcome on my blog. Thanks for your understanding.
