August 25 National Park Service Birthday National Parks Free Entrance Day

August 25 National Park Service Birthday National Parks Free Entrance Day

Every year our National Parks set aside some free days for us.  No entrance fees and that can be a great time to help plan your next family outing.  The freebie does not include camping fees, or other fees like for tours, but it will save a great deal when entering some of our nation's parks.

This coming Monday in celebration of August 25 National Park Service Birthday you could gain entrance for free on August 25.  For more information and to find a park near you check here.

If you are planning out the rest of your year the other free dates are:

  • September 27 National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 Veterans Day

Thank you for the great comments, I always appreciate them. This is a family blog, and some folks seem to forget that so I had to ad word verification to keep spam at bay and moderate all comments to remove adult content that is unwelcome on my blog. Thanks for your understanding.
